LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Accessories retailer Claire's Stores Inc. said that second-quarter net income rose 8% to $35.5 million, or 36 cents a share. Net sales increased 7% to $325.0 million, while comparable store sales for the quarter rose 5%, compared to a 10% rise at the same point a year ago.
