Jim Gabriel, co-founder of the Gabriel Brothers chain of discount stores, has died at the age of 75. Gabriel, who died Thursday at Ruby Memorial Hospital, and his brother, Art Gabriel, created the chain of 36 stores in West Virginia and Pennsylvania after opening a small store in downtown Morgantown.
