DANVILLE -- The first time Richard Bedor Sr. took part in the Danville Fair, he was 13 years old and raced his pony. It was 1930. Bedor was back for the 75th year of the fair Saturday. He recalled he did not win that pony race so long ago. "Another boy on a pony with longer legs won," Bedor said.
