Narooma CWA was formed by 20 enthusiastic women in late July 1930. Early minute books show Mrs Ingles as the first president. The branch members met in their individual homes at meetings called "Snowball Teas" every two weeks until they changed to the supper room of the Soldiers Memorial Hall.
